Begin your safari dream at the renowned Chiawa Camp, located in the heart of the Lower Zambezi National Park. South Luangwa National Park, Zambia

Continue your journey by travelling to eastern Zambia and experience the luxuries of Puku Ridge Camp. With its western and northwestern edge bounded by the Muchinga Escarpment and the southern border line with the meandering Luangwa River, there's no shortage of dramatic and fascinating topography in this stunning game-rich park. Enjoy a relaxing break with breathtaking views of the floodplains and a private watering hole.

Day 1

On arrival at Lusaka, you will be met by a representative of Proflight who will transfer you on a light aircraft flight to Jeki Airstrip (30-minute flight).
Upon arrival at Jeki Airstrip, you will be met by a representative from Chiawa Safaris who will transfer you to Chiawa Camp (10-minute drive & 40-minute boat ride).
After check-in, you will spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 2

Your days will be spent at leisure exploring the Lower Zambezi National Park, Zambia

Typical Day on Safari (timings may slightly vary)

5:00 am - Wake up call
5:30 am - Tea, coffee, biscuits and your morning activities begin
During your morning Safari you stop in the bush for coffee, tea, hot chocolate & snacks
8:30 am - Return from your Safari for breakfast
After breakfast your day will be at leisure for relaxing, swimming, bush walks, or other activities of a personal preference
1:00 pm - Lunch is served
4:00 pm - Afternoon Tea
4:30 pm - You will depart on your afternoon activity
During your afternoon Safari you will stop in the bush for Sundowner drinks
7:30 pm - Return from your Safari, dinner is served
Enjoy a nightcap & chat around the fire before retiring

Day 3

Your days will be spent at leisure exploring the Lower Zambezi National Park, Zambia

Day 4

This morning after breakfast, you will be collected & transferred to Jeki Airstrip in sufficient time for your light aircraft flight to Mfuwe Airport.
Upon arrival at Mfuwe Airport, you will be met by a representative from Chiawa Safaris who will transfer you to Puku Ridge Camp (1.5-hour drive).
Your afternoon will be spent at leisure.

Day 5

Your days will be spent at leisure exploring the South Luangwa National Park, Zambia

Day 6

Your days will be spent at leisure exploring the South Luangwa National Park, Zambia

After your morning Safari activity and breakfast, you will be transferred to Mfuwe Airport in sufficient time to board your onward light aircraft flight to Lusaka.
On arrival in Lusaka you will connect with your onward flight.
