Classic Botswana - Chobe & Okavango Delta

Day 1

• On arrival at Kasane Airport, you will be met by a representative from Desert & Delta who will transfer you to Chobe Game Lodge (30-minute drive).
• After check-in, you will spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 2

Your days will be spent at leisure exploring the Chobe National Park

Typical Day on Safari (timings may slightly vary)

• 5:00 am - Wake up call
• 5:30 am - Tea, coffee, biscuits and your morning activities begin
• During your morning Safari you stop in the bush for coffee, tea, hot chocolate & snacks
• 8:30 am - Return from your Safari for breakfast
• After breakfast your day will be at leisure for relaxing, swimming, bush walks, or other activities of a personal preference
• 1:00 pm - Lunch is served
• 4:00 pm - Afternoon Tea
• 4:30 pm - You will depart on your afternoon activity
• During your afternoon Safari you will stop in the bush for Sundowner drinks
• 7:30 pm - Return from your Safari, dinner is served
• Enjoy a nightcap & chat around the fire before retiring

Day 3

• This morning after breakfast, you will be collected & transferred to Kasane Airport in sufficient time for your light-aircraft flight to Hunda Airstrip.
• Upon arrival at Hunda Airstrip, you will be met by a representative from Wilderness Air who will transfer you to Tubu Tree Lodge (15-minute drive).
• Your afternoon will be spent at leisure.

Day 4

Your days will be spent at leisure exploring the Jao Concession, Okavango Delta

Optional Activities at Tubu Tree Lodge include:

• Game Drives
• Boating*
• Mekoro*
• Guided Walks*
• Catch & Release Fishing*
• Star Bed/ Sleepout
• Helicopter**

Day 5

Your days will be spent at leisure exploring the Jao Concession, Okavango Delta

Day 6

• This morning after breakfast, you will be collected & transferred to Hunda Airstrip in sufficient time for your light aircraft flight to Qorokwe Airstrip.
• Upon arrival at Qorokwe Airstrip, you will be met by a representative from Wilderness Air who will transfer you to Qorokwe Camp.
• Your afternoon will be spent at leisure.

Day 7

Your days will be spent at leisure exploring the Qorokwe Concession, Okavango Delta

Optional Activities at Tubu Tree Lodge include

• Game Drives
• Boating*

Day 8

Your days will be spent at leisure exploring the Qorokwe Concession, Okavango Delta

Day 9

• After your morning Safari activity and breakfast, you will be transferred to Qorokwe Airstrip in sufficient time to board your onward light aircraft flight to Maun (15-minute flight).
• On arrival in Maun you will connect with your onward flight.
