We had a fantastic experience with Africa Tailormade. They handled all of our internal flights within South Africa seamlessly, making what could have been a complicated process feel completely stress free. The highlight of our trip was the safari they arranged fro us - it was absolutely incredible. Every detail was thoughtfully planned and the experience exceeded all of our expectations. It was not only unforgettable for us, but especially for our 13 year old daughter, who is still talking about it and will cherish those memories for years to come. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Africa Tailormade to anyone looking for a well organised, memorable and special travel experience. Their attention to detail is truly impressive. Thank you so much.

We had a fabulous adventure in Namibia, expertly organised by Alison van Deventer of Africa Tailormade, who has in depth and first hand experience of the country. Everything ran smoothly during our 10 day trip, from being met at the airport, where we were provided with clear driving instructions and help with our car hire, to the hot air ballooning and guided nature and game drives. Great standard of accommodation too. We recommend highly Africa Tailormade.

Great people to work with! I was trying to book a Safari last minute during the weekend in Joburg, the lodges did not respond but Africa Tailor Made did! They arranged my lodge and driver (Gerry) who was great! I was able to pay via their link and was all easily arranged.

Africa Tailormade is the BEST IN THE BUSINESS, hands down. This was my dream trip and I went with my best friend of nearly 40 years. The team first listened to what we wanted out of the trip, a critical step missed by many travel agents, but this team listened, asked clarifying questions and proceeded to build the perfect itinerary for us. I’ve traveled a lot in my life, and this was the trip to beat all trips. I was expecting to see some animals and have nice accommodations, but wow, i wasn’t expecting the quantity and quality of our animals sightings - so many incredible moments. And the accommodations chosen for us were spectacular in every way, like glamming on steroids. Each camp was unique and beautiful (we literally dropped our jaws in awe) and the staff at the three camps we stayed at were warm and genuine, and I am at a loss for words to describe the breadth and depth of knowledge our guides had - the people really enriched our time at each camp. Every single experience from airports to transportation and accommodations was executed beautifully, and that enabled us to BE in every moment of the trip, because they removed all burdens and distractions. They are the best and if you are planning a trip to Africa, this is the company you want to trust to get it just right - for you. The sign of a life-changing trip is when you and your BFF say to each other multiple times a day “Pinch me, is this real? This is our life right now! Can you believe it?” We are so grateful to Alison and Africa Tailormade; they are dream makers.

We absolutely don’t know where to begin to describe our once-in-a-lifetime trip that was perfect at every turn. Africa Tailormade created an extraordinary itinerary for us that included our budget, dietary restrictions, and other requirements. Alison Rouse van Deventer and her entire team happily answered our many questions over months of planning our trip. We visited 3 safari camps in the Okavango Delta over a 10 day period- each one spectacular. Africa Tailormade checked in on us each step of the way to may sure there were no issues. One of the greatest tributes we can give to Alison and team is when a group of 4 travel agents were visiting our last lodge to be informed agents going forward in their own businesses. When they tried to solicit our business, we told them we went with Alison Rouse van Deventer, Africa Tailormade, and the agents said, “Stick with her-she’s the best in the business, and has a reputation for knowing her destinations first hand.“ Can’t get a better recommendation than that!! Words cannot describe how thoroughly amazing our trip was and Africa Tailormade made it happen. We would absolutely, without hesitation, recommend them to plan your trip to Africa. A travel agent can make or break a trip, so go with the best, go with Africa Tailormade!!!

Hannah Parkin

I cannot explain what an incredible job Alison did helping to organise our trip. From start to finish, the experience was magical and we really had the trip of a lifetime. She paid special attention to all of our asks and ensured each stage of our holiday was seamless. Thank you SO much for everything!
