Classic Natural Selection Botswana - Okavango Delta

Day 1

• On arrival in Maun, you will be met by a representative of Mack Air who will transfer you on a helicopter flight to Mokolwane Camp (30-minute flight).
• After check-in, you will spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 2

Your days will be spent at leisure exploring the Xudum Private Concession (NG29), Okavango Delta, Botswana

Typical Day on Safari (timings may slightly vary)

• 5:00 am - Wake up call
• 5:30 am - Tea, coffee, biscuits and your morning activities begin
• During your morning Safari you stop in the bush for coffee, tea, hot chocolate & snacks
• 8:30 am - Return from your Safari for breakfast
• After breakfast your day will be at leisure for relaxing, swimming, bush walks, or other activities of a personal preference
• 1:00 pm - Lunch is served
• 4:00 pm - Afternoon Tea
• 4:30 pm - You will depart on your afternoon activity
• During your afternoon Safari you will stop in the bush for Sundowner drinks
• 7:30 pm - Return from your Safari, dinner is served
• Enjoy a nightcap & chat around the fire before retiring

Optional Activities at Mokolwane include:

• Morning and Evening Game Drives
• Bird Watching
• Scenic Helicopter Flights
• Mokoro Excursions

Day 3

Your days will be spent at leisure exploring the Xudum Private Concession (NG29), Okavango Delta, Botswana

Day 4

• This morning after breakfast, you will be collected & transferred by Helicopter to Khwai Private Airstrip.
• Upon arrival at Khwai Private Airstrip, you will be met by a representative from Natural Selection who will transfer you to Sable Alley (15-minute drive).
• Your afternoon will be spent at leisure.

Day 5

Your days will be spent at leisure exploring the Khwai Private Reserve, Okavango Delta, Botswana

Optional Activities at Sable Alley include:

• Morning and Evening Game Drives
• Mokoro excursions (subject to water levels)
• Boat Trips (subject to water levels)
• Guided Game Walks

Day 6

Your days will be spent at leisure exploring the Khwai Private Reserve, Okavango Delta, Botswana

Day 7

• This morning after breakfast, you will be collected & transferred to Khwai Private Airstrip in sufficient time for your light aircraft flight to Kadizora Airstrip.
• Upon arrival at Kadizora Airstrip, you will be met by a representative from Natural Selection who will transfer you to Duke's Camp.
• Your afternoon will be spent at leisure.

Day 8

Your days will be spent at leisure exploring the Okavango Delta

Optional Activities at Duke's Camp include:

• Morning and afternoon game drives
• Enjoy incredible bird watching
• Spend the night fly-camping on a remote, lantern-lit island**
• Boating and mokoro safaris*
• Helicopter flights over the Okavango Delta and view Ancient Rock Paintings**
• Spa treatment**
• Fishing (Only between 01 April - 31 December)

*NB During low water season from October – January, mokoro and boating may be limited as these activities are always subject to water levels.

Day 9

Your days will be spent at leisure exploring the Okavango Delta

Day 10

• After your morning Safari activity and breakfast, you will be transferred to Kadizora Airstrip in sufficient time to board your onward light aircraft flight to Maun.
• On arrival in Maun you will connect with your onward flight.
