Tswalu Kalahari Reserve
Conclude your adventure in the beautiful Kalahari Desert. The Tswalu Kalahari Reserve is a privately owned game reserve in the Northern Cape, South Africa. It is South Africa's largest private game reserve, covering an area of over 111,000 hectares. Tswalu is a labour of love for the Oppenheimer family, who took responsibility for this remarkable reserve in 1998. In its new incarnation as a private nature reserve and conservation success story, Tswalu is bringing this ultimate ambition a little closer each day: To leave the world better than how it was found.

Day 1
- On arrival at Cape Town International Airport, you will be met by a representative from Jarat Tours who will transfer you to the Cape Grace at the V&A Waterfront (25 min)
- After check-in, you will spend the rest of the day at leisure

- Your days will be spent at leisure, exploring the beautiful Cape Town and surrounds.

- This morning after breakfast, you will be met and transferred to La Residence, Franschhoek (1-hour drive)
- After check-in and lunch, you will spend the rest of the day at leisure
Day 6
- Your days will be spent at leisure, exploring the tranquillity of the wine valley in Franschhoek
- During your stay in Franschhoek, you can explore the beautiful Wine Estates in the surrounding valleys
Day 7
- This morning after breakfast, you will be met and transferred to Cape Town International Airport in sufficient time to check-in for your charter flight to Tswalu (1 hour 30 min)
- On arrival at Tswalu, you will be met by a representative who will transfer you to The Motse Lodge
- After check-in and lunch, you will depart on your afternoon Safari
Day 8
Typical Day on Safari (timings may slightly vary)
- 5:00 am - Wake up call
- 5:30 am - Tea, coffee, biscuits and your morning activities begin
- During your morning Safari you stop in the bush for coffee, tea, hot chocolate & snacks
- 8:30 am - Return from your Safari for breakfast
- After breakfast your day will be at leisure for relaxing, swimming, bush walks, or other activities of a personal preference
- 1:00 pm - Lunch is served
- 4:00 pm - Afternoon Tea
- 4:30 pm - You will depart on your afternoon activity
- During your afternoon Safari you will stop in the bush for Sundowner drinks
- 7:30 pm - Return from your Safari, dinner is served
- Enjoy a nightcap & chat around the fire before retiring
