Linyanti Wildlife Reserve, Botswana

Begin your journey by travelling to Linyanti Ebony, one of the African Bush Camps family-focused camps situated in a private wilderness concession in the Chobe Enclave. The Chobe Enclave is home to large herds of elephants - giving you the perfect opportunity to encounter these giants up close. The property exudes a sense of charm and is built on raised wooden decks which overlook the Linyanti Marshlands. Being in a remote area, the camp is designed to blend in with its natural surroundings

Khwai Community Reserve, Botswana

Continue your safari dream set within the Okavango Delta’s community-run Khwai Concession, this beautiful camp is tucked under the trees on the edge of the Khwai River. This river is all that separates the iconic Moremi Game Reserve and the concession, with hippos, elephants and even lions crossing over from time to time. Watching these animals’ manoeuvre through the water is an exceptional experience for even the most travelled safari veterans.

Day 1

On arrival at Maun, you will be met by a representative of Mack Air who will transfer you on a light aircraft flight to Saile Airstrip (40-minute flight).
On arrival at Saile Airstrip, you will be met by a representative of African Bush Camps who will transfer you to Linyanti Ebony.
After check-in, you will spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 2

Your days will be spent at leisure exploring Linyanti

Typical Day on Safari (timings may slightly vary)

5:00 am - Wake up call
5:30 am - Tea, coffee, biscuits and your morning activities begin
During your morning Safari you stop in the bush for coffee, tea, hot chocolate & snacks
8:30 am - Return from your Safari for breakfast
After breakfast your day will be at leisure for relaxing, swimming, bush walks, or other activities of a personal preference
1:00 pm - Lunch is served
4:00 pm - Afternoon Tea
4:30 pm - You will depart on your afternoon activity
During your afternoon Safari you will stop in the bush for Sundowner drinks
7:30 pm - Return from your Safari, dinner is served
Enjoy a nightcap & chat around the fire before retiring

Optional Activities at Linyanti Ebony include:

- Morning & Afternoon Game Drives
- Walking Safaris (guides are armed when walking)
- Bird Watching
- Mokoro Safaris (water level dependent)
- 20 Minute Scenic helicopter flight (min stay of 3 nights April - November)

Day 3

Your days will be spent at leisure exploring Linyanti

Day 4

This morning after breakfast, you will be collected & transferred to Saile Airstrip in sufficient time for your light aircraft flight to Khwai Airstrip.
Upon arrival at Khwai Airstrip, you will be met by a representative from African Bush Camps who will transfer you to Khwai Leadwood.
Your afternoon will be spent at leisure.

Day 5

Your days will be spent at leisure exploring the Okavango Delta

Optional Activities at Khwai Leadwood include:

Game Drives (morning & evening)
Walking Safaris
Bird Watching
Mokoro Safaris (subject to water levels)

Day 6

Your days will be spent at leisure exploring the Okavango Delta

Day 7

After your morning Safari activity and breakfast, you will be transferred to Khwai Airstrip in sufficient time to board your onward light aircraft flight to Maun (15-minute flight).
On arrival in Maun you will connect with your onward flight.
