Alison is by far the best travel rep I have worked with and I travel a lot. Alison first booked our trip for three couples to South Africa, Botswana and Zimbabwe for November 2020. Due to COVID she had to rebook us twice in 2021 and 2022. We then had a conflict with our trip dates and she rebooked us for a fourth time. Each time she rebooked she was able to secure us dates in the same lodges (which were very small) in the same order (which was important to us). Each time she was professional, friendly, very patient and overly willing to help us get our trip rebooked. In addition, we peppered her with many questions over the many months before our trip which she gladly answered very quickly. If she didn't know the answer she researched it and got us the answer. The trip she planned for us was truly the trip of a lifetime. Every detail was taken care of and the places she booked for us were amazing. Not only the accommodations but the people. She took care of checking us in for our flights and checking in with us throughout our trip to make sure everything was going well. I cannot recommend Alison and Africa Tailormade more highly. If you are going to Africa you must contact Alison!

Alison arranged our trip to South Africa and Rwanda which included a couple of days in Kigali and gorilla trekking in Volcanoes National Park. We reached out to Alison during the course of our trip and she responded back quickly each and every time. From the local guide Emmy and his travel company in Rwanda, to the accommodations she suggested, everything exceeded our expectations. We had a couple of changes to our itinerary during our trip and Alison handled each one with exceptional speed and professionalism. I cannot recommend her or her travel agency highly enough. When visiting Africa, she is the only one to go use!!

I just finished a South African safari trip organized by Alison and the team at Africa Tailormade. The safari was incredible and the entire experience was seamless and easy thanks to Tailormade. They delivered on all our wishes, including the type of lodges and specific areas we wanted to visit, and kept in constant communication. Our transportation was coordinated perfectly and the lodges/hotels were kept in the loop.
